Friday, March 18 - Last Day in NOLA

Today we were able to visit our beautiful sister school. Toured the building and had fun discovering all that we have in common.

We should be back in Michigan tonight!

Thursday, March 17 - Fourth Work Day

Today we beautified the neighborhood we are rebuilding by picking up garbage on our street as well as the surrounding streets. Along the way, we met many grateful neighbors who came out of their houses to meet us and thank us for our service to the community.

Ate lunch at and toured Liberty's Kitchen, a nonprofit cafe that trains young people (aged 16-24) for careers in the culinary industry. The food is delicious and the service is fantastic.

We were sad to say our goodbyes to the leaders of YRNO today.

Afterwards, we walked around Greenwood Cemetery to admire the beautiful gravestones.

For dinner tonight, we are headed to the Blue Crab restaurant on Lake Pontchartrain.
